In collaboration with science artist Lizah van der Aart, conceptualised and co-wrote a chapter in Resist Now! based on my PhD research. The goal was to highlight the role organic chemistry plays in fighting antibiotic resistance.

Hi! My name is Nicola, I’m a science writer with a PhD in chemical biology.
I use my 7 years experience in research to create informative but accessible science-based content.
Some of my proudest work achievements are:
- Winning a speaker prize for a research talk
- Helping to create a comic book chapter on AMR
In my spare time, I love to bake anything delicious from cakes to bread and challenge myself with puzzles!
